AFTD Webinar: The Future of Neurodegenerative Advocacy: Collaboration, Science and Shared Goals
Scientific understanding of neurodegenerative diseases is rapidly evolving, revealing extensive overlap of both symptoms and biology among these disorders. Shared genetic factors behind both ALS and FTD are one example; the growing evidence that multiple pathologies may underlie many cases of neurodegenerative disease is another.
Considering this expanding knowledge of how neurodegenerative diseases intersect, collaboration across advocacy organizations is more essential than ever. By working together, we can strengthen our collective ability to advance effective policy and legislative solutions that address the challenges our communities face. In this January 28 webinar at 3:00 p.m. EST, AFTD will introduce several partner organizations with whom we collaborate through coalitions and joint advocacy efforts.
