What we do collect
Like most sites, our website server records each page accessed in a log file. The contents of this log file are analyzed periodically to see how many visitors we have had and what pages they looked at and how they were referred to our site (e.g. a search engine). What we are interested in are totals of those visiting our site and not information on individual access.
If, through our website or by email or through a sign-up form, you provide us with personal information, it is stored securely and confidentially, and is never sold, traded or rented to third-party organizations. You have a right to know what information we store, and you also have every right to ask to remove your personal data from our systems. If you have any questions or comments about the AFTD’s privacy policies, please contact us.
This website is provided for informational purposes only. It is not intended to provide medical advice. It is strongly recommended that persons wishing to use information obtained on this website first consult with their medical practitioner.
Every effort has been made to ensure that the information on this website is correct, but AFTD does not accept any responsibility for action or omission based on inadvertently incorrect information posted on this website by AFTD or by any of our constituents.
