AFTD Webinar: Making a Difference — Become an FTD Advocate

Many members of the AFTD community have found meaning and purpose by becoming an FTD advocate, working to make the journey easier for the next family. But how does one become an advocate? What are some best practices when it comes to delivering advocacy messages? And what types of legislation should we be supporting to best help our community? In this AFTD Training Webinar, members of AFTD’s Advocacy team provide you with the tools to get started as an advocate and explain how you can influence public policy. They are joined by Mike Splaine, a health-advocacy specialist who spent two decades working on policy and advocacy strategies with the Alzheimer’s Association, and Deb Scharper, a long-time AFTD volunteer and current AFTD Ambassador.
