Thank you to everyone who attended the 9th Annual FTD Social, hosted by AFTD at the Society for Neuroscience Conference in November! This year’s attendees represented current and previous grantees, advisors, donors, AFTD Board members, nonprofit partners, government funders, and many emerging scientists. With 123 attendees, this social was our largest yet – a reflection of increasing awareness of FTD and support for FTD research. The goal of these gatherings is to spread awareness about FTD and AFTD resources to new researchers. AFTD shared information on research funding, Registry resources, and medical education support, and welcomed many new early-career researchers into our community.
