AFTD’s 2018 Annual Report documents progress made in the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018. Through donor support, AFTD advanced the key areas of our mission — research, advocacy, awareness, education and support — all of which hasten a world with compassionate care, effective support and a future free of FTD. “Sharing Hope,” the theme of this year’s Annual Report, “underscores the most profound part of AFTD’s mission: accelerating the day when families are no longer devastated by this disease,” AFTD Board Chair Gail Andersen said.
