NINDS Conference on Misfolded Protein Propogation – Nov. 8th

The National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) in collaboration with the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation is sponsoring a Society for Neuroscience satellite workshop on “Mechanisms of Misfolded Protein Propagation in Neurodegenerative Diseases” on November 8th at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego.

The workshop will focus on the cellular mechanisms used to signal or propagate protein misfolding within the CNS and will explore current technologies that could help advance our understanding of the relevance of these mechanisms to disease progression. Investigators in the fields of neurodegenerative disease biology, synaptic signaling and protein processing are invited to participate in this one-day workshop.

NINDS strongly encourages poster presentations for this workshop.  Click here for workshop registration and poster abstract submission.

Registration is limited to 70, so it will be on a first come basis.

For additional details, please see the registration site or contact Dr. Margaret Sutherland at sutherlandm@ninds.nih.gov.
