History of FTD in the Arts
During the AFTD 2024 Education Conference, AFTD launched the FTD in the Arts exhibit to explore how individuals facing an FTD journey utilize artistic expression to navigate their evolving realities. An in-person attendee at that event was so inspired by the artwork that they connected AFTD with Christie’s, the esteemed art auction company.

About the Exhibit
AFTD will host a rendition of FTD in the Arts at Christie’s to highlight pieces from the AFTD 2024 and 2025 Education Conference FTD in the Arts. The goal is to raise awareness of frontotemporal degeneration through creative expression, highlight the lived experience of those affected, and connect audiences with information about AFTD’s programs, services, and research efforts supporting families nationwide.
The exhibit will be open to the public days from 10 am to 5 pm on Thursday, January 22nd and Friday, January 23rd.
