Molto simile al divertimento, solo diverso features stories, past and present, of author Jack Livingston and his longtime friend Chris Kelley, who is currently living with FTD. Jack says, “Chris was the ringleader of ‘cool stuff,’ routinely sweeping up anyone and everyone that was bold or naïve enough to join him in his rule-bending, ill-advised plans for that day’s epic escapade. We shared many of these adventures, but as I wrote Chris’s story I uncovered other tales of which I knew little: clearing out the high school with a smoke-bomb prank in our senior year, raising a family of pigs in a village yard, saving a drowning man in Singapore, and overcoming the trauma of a childhood abduction, to name a few. To me, Chris was the guy who was always up for doing two fun things in one day (sometimes three).”

Unfortunately, when Chris was diagnosed with FTD in his mid-50s, Jack knew their friendship would change. He now takes Chris on “adventures” and is a passionate believer in getting out and doing things with his friend.
