Join The Kensington White Plains and AFTD Ambassador Corey Esannason for an interactive presentation about Specialty Dementias such as Lewy Body, Frontotemporal Dementia and Vascular Dementia.
Corey Esannason, is a Registered Yoga Teacher and an Ambassador with the Association For Frontotemporal Degeneration (AFTD). Corey’s mother was diagnosed with FTD in 2011. Her combined passion for moving and learning inspire her work, which provides yoga programming to adults and children throughout Westchester County in NY. Corey is excited to share her personal and professional knowledge on FTD with the community and build awareness about rare dementias.
During this panel discussion, you will learn what thecommon symptoms are for each, the differences between Lewy Body Dementia, Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s,and what you can do to best assist your loved ones with these diseases.
This virtual presentation will provide opportunity for caregivers and families to learn what happens when the brain changes and how to respond in compassionate, thoughtful ways with your loved one.
