Held in the United States for the first time this year, this conference focuses on dementia with Lewy bodies (DLB), also known as Lewy body dementia, which includes DLB and Parkinson’s disease with dementia. A particular focus of the conference this year (Dec. 1-4) is on the prodromal aspects of DLB. Updates on the genetics, biofluid correlates, molecular biology, animal models and neuropathologic characterization, as well as information on current symptomatic therapies and future potential disease-modifying therapies, will also be presented.
