Your Story Matters: Join AFTD’s March 5th EL-PFDD Meeting
We’re just days away from an important event for our community, and it’s not too late to get involved!
On March 5, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., AFTD will host a virtual Externally Led Patient-Focused Drug Development (EL-PFDD) meeting focused on FTD. This meeting will give all whose lives have been affected by FTD the chance to share their direct experience with representatives from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
We hope you’ll choose to be part of this one-time opportunity to share with the FDA your experience of living with FTD. It doesn’t matter where you live or where you are in your journey – what matters is your story. Be sure to RSVP to let us know you plan to join the event.
More information on the event, including a full agenda, can be found on our EL-PFDD landing page.
Our Community Information video on the event, featuring drug-regulation experts and former FDA employees Larry Bauer and James E. Valentine, explains how the FDA uses Externally Led PFDD meetings to better understand diseases, and why the March 5 PFDD meeting represents such a unique opportunity to make your voice heard and help shape future treatments. We hope you’ll join us on March 5!
