Tori Tinsley is an artist striving to protect her mother’s memories, personality and stories from the effects of FTD.  The Mom’s Laugh Project debuted in Henley Studios in Atlanta in April 2010 with an exhibit and sale of art depicting Tori’s mother’s life and passions. The next Mom’s Laugh event is scheduled for September 9, 2010 at Atria in the Buckhead section of Atlanta. The event will include light hors d’oeuvres, wine, and an exhibit and sale of art. If the date on the artwork arrives and the painting is not sold, the artwork will be destroyed – just like the destruction FTD has on individuals and their families. Patrons have a chance to preserve a painting and the memory it represents with 20% of the proceeds of each sale going to AFTD’s research initiatives. Visit www.ToriTinsley.com for more information.
