Take Part in AFTD’s “With Love” Campaign 2012
AFTD has launched a Valentine’s Day fundraising and awareness-raising campaign. There are two ways to participate: Send the link to the main campaign page to your friends and family, or create your own “With Love” fundraising letter. Russell Zomback to Run Philly Marathon for AFTD
On November 20, Russell Zomback will run the Philadelphia Marathon to raise money for AFTD. His father, David, passed away last September from FTD. If you’d like to support Russell in his run, please visit his online fundraising page, hosted by AFTD’s new fundraising software, Givezooks!
Silent & Live Auction Benefitting AFTD
Cindy Birch, who lost her husband Lee to FTD in 2010, is putting together a silent and live auction in conjunction with her employer’s annual party. The Chestnut Forks Athletic Club in Warrenton, VA will host its biggest social event of the year on November 12 beginning at 7 p.m. There will be music, dancing, karaoke, food and drinks. Tickets are $20 in advance and $30 at the door. Proceeds from the auctions will benefit AFTD. Call 540-347-0823 for more information.
